So summer is officially in full swing, especially where I am in the UK, we are having somewhat of a heatwave. So I thought I would recommend my favourite summery reads! These are in no particular order.
* I was sent a copy by the publisher in exchange for a review (Thank you to Harper Voyager) *
Let me start off by saying that A Torch Against The Night is a very solid sequel to An Ember In The Ashes, which I first read last year and Absolutely loved. The sequel offers everything I loved about the first book, Violence, plot twists & great world building..
Just thinking about Autumn/fall YA releases and there is so many I am dying to get my hands on!
Here is a list of my most anticipated:
Firstly, this should come as no surprise to literally anyone on the planet, is..
When we collided is a story of love, loss, trust & family.
In the first few chapters of this book I completely fell in love with the setting of Verona Cove, the way it was being described and the journey it took to get to different places set the summer vibe, a perfect read for this time of year.
Nevernight (#1 The Nevernight Chronicles)
Author: Jay Kristoff
Release date: August 11th 2016
Rating: *4.5 stars*
Thank you to NetGalley & Harper Voyager UK for this book in exchange for an honest review
After reading Illuminae last year (and LOVED it) I was interested to hear about anything else this author would be writing.
After the announcement of Nevernight and learning that it is novel about revenge and a school of assassins my first thought was *YES PLEASE*.
So unbelievably excited to finally have this site up & running! after it being just an idea in my head for over a year, eeek.
Still working a few bits & bobs out and i’m going to be gradually posting reviews for my favourite books that i have read in the last year so they are all on here to see.
Even though i am going to have an ‘about me’ section i thought i would introduce myself before i say anything else..
